Accessibility

John Jesensky Concert Works wants everyone to be able to use this site. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
What we have done
- The site works with a keyboard, including the menu, the video pop up and the contact form.
- A skip link at the top of each page jumps to the main content.
- Images have text descriptions, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Pages have one main heading and a clear heading structure.
- The layout adapts to phones, tablets and desktops and does not require sideways scrolling.
- Animation and the moving video background are turned off for visitors whose device is set to reduce motion.
Known limitations
- Some text on gold buttons and over photographs may not reach the recommended color contrast.
- The video on the home page is hosted by YouTube. Its captions and controls are provided by YouTube and are outside our control.
- Articles that link to other publishers’ pages depend on those sites’ accessibility.
Tell us about a problem
If you have trouble using any part of the site, or need information in another format, please send a message through the contact form. Say which page you were on and what went wrong, and we will work to fix it.
